Heidi Klum and Laura Bennett – Project Childbirth

As most everyone knows, Heidi Klum, 33, and Seal, 43, welcomed an 8 lb, 11 oz boy into the world on Wednesday, November 22nd, naming him Johan Riley Fyodor Taiwo Samuel. He joins his 1-year-old brother, Henry Guenther Ademola Dashtu Samuel, and 2–year-old sister, Leni (from Heidi’s relationship with Flavio Briatore).

Seal shared the news via his website, saying, “To our children, a brother. To our parents, a grandson. To my wife and I, a son. To our family, a blessing … He is healthy, beautiful and looks just like his mother.”

Heidi Klum and Seal began dating in February 2004, when Heidi was still pregnant with Leni. They married in May 2005, and now have three children under the age of three. Yikes! That’s a lot of diapers.

Laura Bennett, 43, Architect-turned-designer, and finalist on Season 3’s Project Runway, gave birth to her sixth child on Friday December 1st. Weighing in at 8 lbs, Finn Bennett is the fifth boy for Laura, who discovered she was pregnant while filming Project Runway. The newest addition joins father Peter Shelton, 55, sister Cleo, 18 (from Laura’s previous marriage), brothers Peik, 10, Truman, 7, Pierson, 4, and Larson, 3. Good thing Laura Bennett knows how to sew.

On a final note … Project Runway judge Nina Garcia, 41, is expecting her first child in March 2007, with husband David Conrod.

So I’m thinking that designers are really fertile people. If you see one of these ladies near a water cooler, I suggest you drink out of the sink.
