After Christmas Catch Up

Well, it’s two days after Christmas and about a week or more since I posted something of real importance. I had a great holiday and Santa was very good to me. Santa was even better to my step-father who received a “Major Award” (sample photo below, but his is a desk lamp). I hope to post the video of it all soon (if he lets me).

As much as I would love it if the world revolved around me, it sadly does not, so things happened while I was away. Here is a recap of what I found to be the most life altering changes –

Former President Gerald Ford died at the age of 93.

Godfather of Soul James Brown died at the age of 73.

Courtney Cox Arquette got a traffic ticket.

California Governor and former Mr. Universe, Arnold Schwarzenegger broke his leg while skiing.

A judge has ordered Anna Nicole Smith to return to California for a paternity test.

Sean “Diddy” Combs and his girlfriend, Kim Porter, welcomed twin girls.

Nicole Richie was photographed eating. No proof she kept the food down, however. Am I the only one who is a bit bothered by Nicole’s over use of her tongue while taking a bite?

Miss Nevada, Katie Rees, was stripped of her crown and title after photos of her licking and kissing other girls surfaced. Apparently this is worse than Miss USA’s offense of underage drinking and kissing Miss Teen USA. Would it have been ok if Miss Nevada was kissing Miss Teen Nevada? I’m a bit unclear on the rules.

And here’s what stayed the same –

Donald Trump is still ugly and still has horrible hair.

Mariah Carey still doesn’t know how to dress appropriately.

Scarlett Johansson still had huge boobs.

Tara Reid still shouldn’t wear a string bikini in public. I have to give her credit for having the confidence to think she can carry it off. But she can’t. And I hope a good friend will tell her so.
