Which picture is more frightening?

On the left is French Canadian singer Celine Dion, wearing who-knows-what. The one on the right is of Marilyn Manson and his soon-to-be ex-wife Dita Von Teese (who will serve Manson with divorce papers as soon as she can locate him).

The fright factor is a toss up here, I think. It may be too close to call.

Dita Von Teese, born Heather Renée Sweet on September 28, 1972 in Rochester, Michigan, is an American burlesque dancer and pin-up model. Her trade marks are her “woman in a giant martini glass” routine and her raven colored hair.

She is naturally blonde.

Dita posed nude on t-shirts designed by Marc Jacobs in 2006 to raise money for skin cancer research.

Dita, trained in ballet, incorporates the dance into her burlesque shows, frequently performing en pointe.

She is a trained costume designer, having studied historical costuming in college.

Dita was featured in People magazine’s 2007 Most Beautiful People issue, in the “Curves Rule” portion.

Dita’s waist can be pulled to 16½ inches in a corset.
