Well for crying out loud. Now that Lindsay Lohan and Britney Spears have “completed” rehab, and Paris Hilton is facing jail time (ha! yeah right. does she even know how to spell jail?), things seem to have died down a bit in Tinsel Town.

But fear not! I still have a few things to share.

– Rosie O’Donnell will be leaving The View when her contract is up, after only one year on the show. Is anyone really surprised? I’m not. She did wonderful things for the often boring show, but now it’s time to move on. It was becoming more like Rosie and Friends than anything else (with Elisabeth playing the role of stupid annoying girl).

I’ll miss Rosie. She was the reason I watched The View, I won’t deny it. Of course, now that I have an office job, I don’t get to watch it while I work. Ahhh…...those were the days.

– In other “leaving” news, Larry Birkhead is now allowed to travel outside of the Bahamas with his BIOLOGICAL daughter, Dannielynn. Yay! Finally. Now, if only Howard K. Stern would admit he’s a scumbag.

– With the birth of a little girl, the Scary Spice / Eddie Murphy paternity battle takes another turn. Melanie Brown is swearing up and down that Eddie is her baby’s daddy. He says he isn’t. Man, I sure hope this argument is settled faster than the Anna Nicole Smith Baby Drama. Hey, I wonder if Zsa Zsa Gabor’s husband will claim paternity to Mel B’s baby. Wouldn’t that be a hoot?

– Britney Spears has been seen around town sporting a new svelte body lately. I don’t mean to be a party pooper, but I seriously doubt it was done without drugs of one kind or another. But I suppose I could be wrong.

Next thing you know, Britney is going to be the “body” of some new diet pill, then she’s going to start acting even crazier. Remind you of someone else? Hm, Anna Nicole Smith had a reality show too. And a few husbands under her belt. And a southern upbringing. And was a natural brunette. Very interesting…

Then there’s the rumor that Joe Simpson, yes Jessica and Ashlee’s manager/father, wants to represent Britney Spears. Uh, yeah. I’m not really comfortable with that. Although, I bet it would be quite entertaining.

– People Magazine made a wise decision in putting Drew Barrymore on the cover of their “50 Most Beautiful” issue. Am I the only one who remembers her from Babes In Toyland? Keanu Reeves was in it too.
