My turtle is a yellow-bellied slider and looked just like this one when he was a baby. Except my turtle has only one head.

The 2-month-old turtle, actually conjoined red-eared slider twins, fits on a silver dollar…The turtle is apparently healthy, and the species can live 15 to 20 years…CTCentral.com

When we look at this turtle and other freak of nature animals like it, how can we not immediately wonder what the heck is in the atmosphere that’s causing all this genetic insanity? The three-eyed fish episode of The Simpsons may have only been a cartoon, but it wasn’t too far off from reality. Scary.
