Scrooged – It’s A Toaster!

Christmas is a week from today. Are you ready?

I’m ready to sit down in front of a fire and watch one of my favorite Christmas movies, Scrooged, starring Bill Murray. If you ask someone what they’re favorite Christmas movie is, they’ll probably say It’s A Wonderful Life starring Jimmy Stewart. But if you ask me, I’ll tell you that movie is stupid and Scrooged can kick its butt any day of the week.

A clever take on Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol it follows Frank Cross (Bill Murray), a selfish and evil TV Executive, as he is visited by his ghosts – a lunatic cab driver, an abusive pixy, and a very tall television screen of death.

The rest of the movie’s great cast includes Carol Kane, Alfre Woodard, Karen Allen, Bobcat Goldthwait, Robert Mitchum, and John Forsythe.

Beyond the stellar cast, several celebrities made cameo appearances, including Mary Lou Retton, Miles Davis, Robert Goulet, Lee Majors, and the Solid Gold Dancers.
