consider the possibility that celebrities say stupid stuff to media because they are almost required to. What if J.L. said “oh yeah, I think pre-marital sex is great” she would be ostracized even more than she already is.

I think all this hating on the spears family ridiculous, and I’m not even a fan of either of them.

I accept your opinion on the use of “white trash.” However, I am from a long line of Southern white trash and honestly, I don’t find it offensive; I can think of a lot worse things to call someone than white trash.

Using the term “white trash” isn’t very fair (or nice) but I would agree that this is an unfortunate turn of events for the Spears group. You would think that the younger Spears would have learned from Britney’s example.

“Statutory rape.” Golly, I never thought of that, but you’re right! Wonder what will come of that?

Completely shocked? At 16, I knew having intercourse could produce a baby. In all due fairness, I haven’t seen or read anything saying Jamie Lynn had unprotected sex. Could be they used a defective condom, or the pull out method didn’t work. Or he (Casey Aldrege, I believe is her boyfriend) has some super persistent spermies.

Thus far, I haven’t seen anything so great about the parenting skills in this family. From momma Lynn and popppa Jaime, who’ve turned out such sterling examples of grown and growing children. I wish them all well cuz they in a pickle.

I’m just wondering if there’s anything contractually, for Jaime Lynn or momma Lynn . In Jaime’s contract, is there anything about NOT getting preggers while doing Zoey? As for momma Lynn, there anything in her book contract (sweet irony of Life it was due to come out now or soon) about her words being true? Bet that’s all shot to hell.

It amazes me that the story of one of 500,000 pregnant 16 year olds in this country is top news mostly because she’s famous for being related to somebody famous…. judging from her sister’s parenting skills, I can only think that adoption would be the kindest option, not to mention setting a good example for others.

Hell! We’ll take the baby – provided that white trash family with money agrees to stay far, FAR away.
