The trick is learning to drop the bad apples--- if they didn't take up for you & you felt it was needed, tell them. If they don't agree with you, it's obvious you should shake them like bad habits! I only surround myself with people who deserve my friendship, after all--- "I" am in control of my life & my happiness!!!! But that's a sad reality of Life. The older you/we get, the more we choose to let go of some friends we had. As we grow, we learn we no longer have certain things in common.
