Sometimes gossip is put out there and never revisited. Let’s update, shall we?

Andy Dick was arrested last July on a myriad of charges. Today was supposed to be his arraignment but it was rescheduled for October 3rd.

...”as a result of a miscommunication between defense counsel and prosecutors regarding plea negotiations,” a court public information officer told E! News Tuesday.

“The miscommunication will be cleared up by the next court date,” he added, speaking on behalf of the Riverside County District Attorney’s Office.

Dick was charged last month with four misdemeanor counts of battery, public intoxication, possession of Xanax without a prescription and possession of marijuana in connection with his July 16 arrest in Murietta, Calif., after he was spotted urinating in a restaurant parking lot and a teenage girl accused him of groping her.

While the former News Radio star was originally booked on suspicion of felony sexual battery, the D.A. ultimately concluded that, based on the “evidence presented and the recommendations of the police agency that made the arrest,” the less-punishable charges fit the bill.

In the beginning of August, Nikki Blonsky and her family got into a big ol’ brouhaha with former America’s Next Top Model contestant Bianca Golden and her family.

Actress Nikki Blonsky has been leaning on her Hairspray castmates since her airport arrest in the Turks and Caicos.

“They have all been extremely supportive,” Blonsky told Entertainment Tonight on Monday…

Blonsky’s major source of strength throughout the ordeal? Zac Efron.

“I love him with every inch of my body and soul. He has been an amazing support system,” she gushed.

Blonsky said that the incident in the Turks and Caicos has made her family stronger.

“We are a tight-knit family. We’re just happy to be back together. My family is my life. The best gift that I’ve even been given is my parents,” she said.

Carl – who was slapped with a felony charge of grievous bodily harm – was jailed on the island after the July 30 brawl. He has since returned to New York City.

Last week things got all kooky over and LAX when airport police escorted a Jamie Lynn Spears decoy through the airport. Since then, an investigation has been launched.

“It is not the policy or practice for Airport Police to provide a celebrity decoy,” LAX spokesman Albert Rodriguez tells E! News. “Airport Police has opened an internal investigation of the incident and will take appropriate administrative action if warranted.

“Los Angeles World Airports policy prohibits special courtesies to be provided to celebrities, unless extenuating circumstances such threat of danger to the individual or the safety of the general public are involved.”…

“A few of the guys didn’t clear what they were doing with all the supervisors and they may get in trouble,” the source adds.
