First Lindsay Lohan casually acknowledges her relationship with Samantha Ronson.
…last night Lindsay was a guest on the sex-advice radio program Loveline (hosted by Dr. Drew and Stryker) and she seemed to confirm that she and Samantha are “going out” with one another. I, for one, am thrilled for them both … and am very happy to know that they are, apparently, in love with one another. Here is a cute pic of L. Ron enjoying one another’s company at the 6th Annual TV Guide Emmy Afterparty on Sunday night (which was held at The Kress in LA) and a direct transcription of Lindsay’s confirmation to DJ Stryker on Loveline last night… Pink Is The New Blog
Then People Magazine releases their latest magazine cover with Clay Aiken finally admitting what we’ve all known since we first laid eyes on him.
…People Magazine’s upcoming issue has Clay Aiken, front and center with his turkey-baster babe, telling us what we already know, that he IS gay.
Claymates who have been in denial for years should be monitored carefully in the next few weeks, and possibly be considered for suicide watch. ‘Cuz they are the ONLY ones who are gonna be shocked by THIS newsflash. And it won’t be pretty. SnarkFood
Over in the land of those supporting all things gay, a whole lot of money was plunked down to help keep marriage legal.
Steven Spielberg and his wife Kate Capshaw have donated $100,000 to the campaign to defeat a proposed constitutional ban on same-sex marriage in California.
Their donation is the latest high-profile contribution to the campaign, as gay marriage advocates seek to narrow a gap in fund-raising. Brad Pitt donated $100,000 to the No on 8 campaign last week, in what was seen as a wakeup call to entertainment industry figures to pony up more money for the fight. … [Lavender Liberal]
But it doesn’t stop there. Providing yet more proof that gay people are everywhere, the McCain camp has taken a blow.
Several high profile blog sites reported on Monday that John McCain’s chief of staff Mark Buse is a closeted gay man. According to reports, 46-year-old Brian Davis has come forward claiming he is Buse’s ex-boyfriend. Several other unidentified individuals, including two members of the Log Cabin Republicans, have also made claims Buse is gay. Both McCain and vice-presidential running mate Sarah Palin oppose equal marriage rights for gays and lesbians and are known for their openly stated anti-gay sentiments. The Hostess

Well, good for Lindsay to at least acknowledge she’s dating a woman. Quite an age difference between the two, which may be why it’s “working” (so far, anyway…)
No surprise that Clay is gay (poetic justice?) But I’m also glad he’s thinking about his son and living the truth, not hiding it.
Kudos to Spielberg and Pitt for throwing their support and money to the “cause.” We’ll see what happens in the entertainment industry; wonder if we’ll see more “gay” shows?
As for McCain and his employee….well, it’s politics and when has that ever provided the whole truth? Perhaps Buse needs the job? Has he denied he is gay?
