Most of us value our own opinions. That being said one should respect other opinions as well no matter how different or your opinion may be. In retrospect I do not care too much for Elizabeth opinions however I do respect her words no matter how far to the right they may be. Elizabeth is part of the the view and in my most humble opinion she must stay. She brings alot to the table and with out her the show would not have the impact it has. I say to you Elizabeth keep it coming and continue to speak your mind. I may differ from your answers and it might make me a bit angry at times however you keep kickin butt!!! you are one of the reasons I tune in. ABC would be very ignorant to let you go!! Indeed, it makes for a more interesting show when there is diversity of cultures and opinions, but, Elizabeth does not defend her positions with rational and deliberate thought.
She is so emotional and her thoughts just spew out of her mouth without serious consideration of what she is saying and whom they might offend. She interrupts her co-hosts and guests constantly and just comes across on the panel as a lightweight. When you have (2) strong, liberal personalities and (1) centrist voicing their varying opinions; you must have a strong and well-informed conservative counterpart to balance the panel and its discussions. I have turned off the show so many times because of her immature tantrums and ill-formulated arguments. Please find someone who can stand up for her positions without the drama!

Elizabeth is the only reason I watch this show. She is the one with some moral values and does not constantly put our country down. Joy is so liberal that she cannot see the truth and Whoopie needs to clean up her mouth on the air that what she says is not bleeped. Elizabeth, stay strong to your convictions and God bless. It would be nice if another conservative were on the show so that it could be two against two. Have you considered hiring a man? Since President Bush is gone, ,Joy won’t have anyone to bash any more. I loved it when Bill O’Reilly was on the show and showed her up. She better realize that she lives in the greatest country in the world and start showing some respect.

I like Elizabeth. She is the only one who is not rude and impolite. Joy continues to but in while she is talking and make funny faces and remarks while Elizabeth is trying to say her piece. This to me is very rude. Elizabeth does not make faces and remarks while Joy is talking. Whoopie just doesn’t know how to handle the whole thing. She has her own impolite way of cutting Elizabeth off by going to comercial every time she thinks Elizabeth is going to say something positive about a Bush or O’Reilly. Heaven forbid she should say what she believes while everybody else goes on for hours about their side of things,etc.politics, celebs., or whatever.

Its unfortunate that Elizabeth has so much difficulty keeping up with the rest of the Views participants. I know Barbra Walters and her producers need to balance the show, however there must be some right winger who has more intelligence. I find her pathetic.

I totally agree with the comment from Susan Welch (02/06). I, too, saw the exchange between Whoppi & Eliz. It was typical uninformed Eliz. turning the inhumane aerial hunting of wolves & other animals (thank you, Sara Palin?!) into an abortion issue. Why can’t Eliz. stay on topic?? It’s simple, she has no depth on any issue to continue a detailed discussion. She & Palin are cut from the same cloth…….minimum knowledge, base, or depth on important issues facing our country. Remember the VP debate last Oct.? Palin never answered the questions that were asked. She just jumped from topic to topic & let’s not forget the pathetic winking & “shout outs”. I wonder if Eliz. knows that Africa is a continent? If she does, she’s one point ahead of Palin. Granted, EH is not running for the 2nd highest office in the land; but, she adds nothing to the panel. She should stick to topics like “American Idol”….more her area of expertise.

Elizabeth has got to go. She is rude and inconsiderate and I’m convinced not too smart. She is a shining example of what’s wrong with America. No matter what is right or wrong, as a Republican she will never agree to what might be a good Democratic idea. Shouldn’t we do what’s best for the country?
Yesterday Whoopie opened up with the killing of wolves in Alaska and before you knew it she had it turned to abortion. Please Barbara or Bill, let her go. She adds absolutely nothing to the panel. As much as I enjoy the show I’m done until she goes.

Elizabeth is one of the the reasons I stopped watching after they let Rosie ( the only one with gumption enough to say what she really thought)go. The other is Barbara Walters. Elizabeth is immature and demonstrates her ignorance and narrow minded prejudice every time she opens her mouth. Barbara is a two faced holier-than-thou hypocrite.

I have watched the show from the very first day it started. I have seen co-hosts come & go. Elizabeth is by far the least talented person to ever sit on the panel. She is narrow minded & most of the time very ill-informed. I think she memorizes talking points sent to her on a daily basis from FOX News. She pretends to have pure Christian values, but most of her comments show that she has absolutely no compassion for the disadvantaged in this country. A little while ago when Pres. Bush vetoed the renewal of the “CHIPS” program to provide health care for poor & disadvantaged children, she applauded his actions. She has such a limited outlook on life & thinks that all children have the kind of privileged life that she had growing up and that her own kids enjoy daily. Once again, a “family values” phoney decides to constantly leave her kids to be raised by hired help while “Mommy” goes out in the public spotlight to capture her glory & fame. Surely her former quarterback husband earns more than enough money for their family to live very comfortably. I applaud all working women, but she should find her satisfaction in being with the children that God has blessed her with. Her recent comments about Olympic Champ, Michael Phelps, were so judgemental. She just never wants to give anybody a little understanding. I’m afraid Eliz. is another bogus “Compassionate Conservative” hypocrite. She should be replaced with another conservative, but someone who is well informed, well read, willing to listen to the opinions of others & most of all, someone who does not look like they are about to burst into tears constantly.

I feel that Elsbeth is not very mature. She respects no one ,talks over everyone like auctioner. I swear those lips flap so fast half of the time it is not clear. She needs to join with Ann Coulter so thsy can run the conservative party.. She thinks she is right but need to study the facts. Just go back over the last eight years and idiot Bush, and get her head out of the sand. I enjoy the show more when she is not there …..

I have been an ardent fan of “The View” since it was a fledgling show.

I’ve seen many heated discussions. I’ve watched co-hosts come and go. There’s one current co-host who SHOULD GO, whose contract should NOT be renewed…Ms. Hasselbeck!

I am tired and sick to death of her:
–self-righteous indignation!
–the silver spoon in her mouth!
–inablility to stay on subject (unless its her subject)
–holier than Thou attitude.

After she delivers, maybe some smart soul could deliver her with a pink slip allowing her to join forces with one of her role model, Ms. Palin.

It would culminate into two air heads in search of a vaccuum.

Then, “The View” could enjoy the opportunity of having a new co-hostess with as much smarts, wit and flair as Whoppi, Joy, Sherri and Ms. Walters.

I detest Elizabeth. I have been hoping that she gets fired or that she would get pregnant, at least she be off for while. The happest day was when she announced that she is pregnant. I change the channel when she starts to rant and rave, I just cannot stand that woman.

I enjoy the view. However, Elizabeth seems to monopolize the show with the her ranting and raving while the other ladies including Barbara cater to her…which consequently has made Elizabeth more arrogant and ignorant about life. She seems pre-occupied with self – always looking at the camera. Elizabeth, it’s time you stayed home and took care of your kids now that number three is on the way.
