Pregnancy Rumors:

Is newlywed Fergie pregnant with twins?? Mmm, I’m not so sure I believe this one seeing how the singer said it as she and new husband Josh Duhamel were catching a flight for their honeymoon. Personally, I think she was joking, and even making somewhat of a mockery of the question.

Asked if she was planning on having children in the near future, Fergie said: “I’m pregnant with twins.” [Source]

What about tennis “star” Anna Kournikova? Last I heard she had kicked Enrique Iglesias to the curb, but is she now pregnant? Or just trying to stay relevant in the land of celebrity?

New Baby News:

Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck released the name of their new baby girl today. As celebrity baby names go this one is pretty tame (paging Lisa Bonet!). Dare I say, normal? Welcome to the world, Seraphina Rose Elizabeth Affleck!

Feminine form of the Late Latin name Seraphinus, derived from the biblical word seraphim which was Hebrew in origin and meant “fiery ones”. The seraphim were an order of angels, described by Isaiah in the Bible as having six wings each. This was the name of a 13th-century Italian saint who made clothes for the poor. As an English name, it has never been common. [Source]

Alison Sweeney, currently known for hosting NBC’s The Biggest Loser, but most notably known as Sammy on the soap opera Days of Our Lives, gave birth to a baby girl on Monday.

Welcoming a baby girl into their clan on Monday, January 12, Alison Sweeney and her husband David Sanov name the infant Megan Hope Sanov. [Source]

Hospitalization:

Howie Mandel was taken to the hospital today with an irregular heartbeat, but he’s fine now and back home in Canada. Apparently Howie had a “cast physical” – whatever that is – and the Dr. heard something funny so he wanted to check it out. The rest of the heart scare was pretty much Howie’s fault.

Later that day, however, Howie began feeling ill from something he felt was heart-related. The doctor had given Howie medicine to control his heartbeat and cautioned him not to take it on an empty stomach. Howie, however, took the med without eating anything. [Source]

You don’t hear this one everyday…..Law & Order SVU actress (and daughter of Jayne Mansfield) Mariska Hargitay has been hospitalized with a partially collapsed lung. This is actually the second time since Christmas that Mariska’s lung has collapsed. Crazy!

Nobody knows the cause of the lung problem as yet and Hargitay was spotted sledding around the Hampton’s on New Years eve. It seems the lung had to be re-inflated by doctors and at this stage, her rep won’t confirm much else. [Source]
