Carrie Prejean – No To Gay Marriage, Yes To Fake Boobs

Losing the Miss USA pageant was the best thing that ever happened to Carrie Prejean.

Where would the lovely Miss California be today had she not put her foot in her mouth in front of millions of people? Off finding a man to be in an opposite marriage with, no doubt.

Carrie Prejean was on the Today show Thursday morning talking about how she’s now going to be working with the National Organization for Marriage on one of their campaigns opposing gay marriage.

“I am just here to protect marriage,” said Prejean. “The National Organization for Marriage basically just respects marriages and people who support it. I am here to protect traditional marriage.”

I respect marriage too. I respect marriage as a union between two consenting adults who love each other and want to spend their lives together.

Marriage is no longer about joining families and treating the wives as property; marriage is no longer about procreation. Marriage is about love and unity.

When asked about the hoopla over her answer to the infamous Perez Hilton question during the pageant, Carrie Prejean turned into a Stepford Wife robot.

“I never thought in a million years that this would be happening right now. I was attacked for giving my own opinion on stage. I am going to do whatever it takes to protect marriage.”

…”[marriage] is something that is very dear to my heart, and I am just here to protect it. That’s all I am here to do.”

Carrie Prejean is also here to have the Miss USA pageant pay for the unchristian like alteration of her body – fake boobs. But of course she won’t tell you that.

But Shanna Moakler will.

When asked by Billy Bush of Access Hollywood if the Miss California pageant organization paid for breast augmentation surgery for Carrie Prejean, Shanna said they had, and that it “was something that we all spoke about together. It was an option and she wanted it. And we supported that decision.”

Hmm, so Carrie Prejean supports her God’s view on marriage, but not his view on altering the body he gave her (he’s against it). Interesting.

I wish Carrie Prejean the best of luck with her crusade to “save” traditional marriage. And I hope she doesn’t hurt herself tripping over all the traditional divorces she’ll pass on her way.

Maybe she’ll be like another beauty queen full of “homosexual” bashing.
Anita Bryant (Miss OK 1958) was the spokesperson for the Florida Orange Commission, but her nasty remarks resulted in a very, very successful boycott of Florida orange juice. Anita’s contract was not renewed. She divorced her husband and was ostracized by her fellow fundamentalists because divorce was a no no back then. (The bible still quotes AGAINST it, but you don’t hear much of that. Pick and choose your scripture, you know.) Anita filed bankruptcy in Arkansas and Tennessee. She was an attractive woman with a promising career in commercials and she gave it all up for her campaign of discrimination against others who weren’t like her.

Where does it say ANYWHERE, that two adults of the same sex should marry?

  3. Go Carrie! Says:

It’s called having Courage to voice your convictions, very rare these days. And, I still haven’t seen anywhere in the Bible where it is okay for two adults of the same sex to be married. Remember the Bible? Look at a Dollar bill the next time you have one in your hands. It says across the top “In God We Trust”. (Not mans laws, or a greedy politician)

Many same-sex couples enter in RELIGIOUS marriages, while they have no state recognition of these marriages. Freedom of religion means that denominations ought to be free to perform ceremonies they see fit or not to perform those that they don’t see fit. Because there is separation of Church and State, the issue at hand has nothing to do with the Bible. It has to do with the recognition of CIVIL marriages.

Hey “Go Carrie!” the bible also says I should stone people who wear clothes of mixed cloth. Check your labels and let me know where I can find you.

Did we forget what an opinion is?? Did we forget freedom of speach?? Gay people fight for their freedom to be with whoever in whatever capacity they want to be and it is expected to respect their feelings and status..So when some one speaks like Carrie did why do we not respect her opinion? If you do not want an answer then stop asking a loaded question!! we do not all expect to be right or wrong so to each their own.. This young lady was wronged by a person who did not ask that same question to others and prejudged a person based on their belief should we all bash everyone who does not believe in things that we do not believe in, no matter what the topic is??? Think about it….
