Do you know which board game is the best-selling in the whole world?

It’s Monopoly.

Yup, Monopoly is sold in 103 countries and produced in 37 languages. Wow!

That includes Simpsons Monopoly which, you guessed it, is about The Simpsons and their town of Springfield.

Simpsons Monopoly revolves around the new Monorail in Springfield that has caused a crazy real estate boom. Everyone wants a piece of the action and they’re battling to buy up all the properties around town:

The game rules for Simpsons Monopoly are the same as the classic version, but instead of putting houses and hotels on the properties, you add monorail stops and stations. The Community Chest and Chance cards have been customized specifically for Simpsons Monopoly, including cartoon drawings.

The Simpsons Monopoly game includes:

6 pewter tokens for Bart, Homer, Kang (space alien), Blinky (3-eyed fish), Santa’s Little Helper (the Simpson’s dog), Jebediah Springfield
Property cards
Chance and Community Chest cards

With some editions of Simpsons Monopoly you can buy four other tokens: Marge with Maggie, Lisa, Mr. Burns and / or Otto.

For you more sophisticated types, there is now Simpsons Monopoly with Electronic Banking. How cool does that sound? Instead of cash there are cards, and there’s an electronic banking unit with great Homer sounds.
