Miley Cyrus Pole Dancing At The Teen Choice Awards

You know what…..I’ve got a big problem with Miley Cyrus pole dancing at the Teen Choice Awards.

I’m not a prude by any means, but a 16-year-old girl gyrating on a pole at a kids award show is just not appropriate. Not at all.

It wouldn’t be so bad of the stupid girl wasn’t trying to convince us she’s a virgin. If you’re gonna play the virgin role my dear Miley, you need to actually act like a virgin – not some skank in a micro mini.

There’s nothing wrong with being a skank in a micro mini – heck, that’s how Paris Hilton makes her living. But when you’re trying to project to the world you’re a good virginal girl, you need to act like one. That’s just the way it is.

Oh, and I have a really big problem with Miley’s 9-year-old little sister Noah Cyrus pole dancing at a friggin’ Hollywood club. That’s just so many kinds of wrong.

But hey, when your sister Miley Cyrus is taking provocative pictures of herself and posting them online by day and humping the air at a kids award show by night, it’s a little hard not to dance on a pole before the age of 10.

Is anyone truly surprised? We have the inappropriate photos and the live-in adult boyfriend. This is only the next step for a kid whose father is whoring her out. One can only imagine what depths will be reached by the time she is 21.

Then when she is in rehab for alcohol, illegal drugs and perscription meds, Billy Ray will blame it on the media and the photographers who won’t leave her alone. Good one Billy. Pushing your daughter to the edge because you have no career. Father of the Year, you are not and never will be.

  2. Susan Says:

I was a little confused – I thought I was watching the TEEN Choice awards not the MTV Music Awards. That outfit and the pole dance was very inappropriate – especially with tweens and younger in the audience and watching at home! I don’t think this would have happened if the show was still on Nickelodeon. And what is wrong with her parents?! She is still your 16 year old daughter -yes she pays your bills but still BE the Parent!

Plus the comment from Dane Cook to Vanessa Hudgens.. come on save it for your Adult comedy act Dane – there are children watching! Ugh…

    Susan (mother of 3)

  3. Stacy Says:

I think that what she was wearing was not appropriate for someone her age and her dancing like a hooker on the stripper pole just topped it off!!! After watching this I will not allow my 9 year old daughter to watch her shows again. I think that she is going way too far with her outfits along with her music!! Come on Billy Ray she is only 16 years of age quit worrying about her making you millions nad have a lil respect for your own daughter!!!

  4. Billy Says:

She didn’t dress any different then any other 16/17 year old girl would at school (With dress codes being the only thing holding them back)

The pole dancing was a little much, but this was the TEEN choice awards. If a teen doesn’t know what pole dancing is then that is plain weird.

Edit- Stacy, that is your problem for letting your 9 year old watch the TEEN choice awards, don’t blame her

  5. DAWN Says:

BILL: THATS WHAT 9 YR OLDS DO IS WATCH THE TEEN AWARDS TO SEE THEIR SUPPOSE TO BE ROLE MODELS..NOT SKANKS. MILEY IS NOTHING BUT A TRASHY STAR THAT CAN’T SING WORTH OF CRAP. I THINK SHE SOUNDS LIKE A HORSE!!! AND FOR 16 YR OLDS DRESSING LIKE THAT TODAY…HELLO! ITS BECAUSE OF TRASHY STARS LIKE MILEY WHO HAS NO RESPECT FOR HERSELF. I CAN’T STAND THE GIRL AND WILL NEVER LET MY KIDS WATCH OR BUY ANYTHING W/ HER FACE IN/ON IT. SHE HAS DONE NOTHING BUT SHOW PPL WHO SHE REALLY IS..AND I HIGHLY DOUBT SHE’S A VIRGIN…GIVE IT UP HONEY. YOU’VE PROVED THROUGH ALL YOUR PICTURES THAT YOUR A LITTLE SLUT!!!!

  6. cookie Says:

I think Miley’s parents owe Jamie Foxx an apology! Jamie called it like he saw it. And if you didn’t see it coming with the 20+ year old boyfriend and the semi-nude photos then you are blind. In four years Paris Hilton will look like a saint compared to Miley. As the front page covers start to decrease, the raunchy behavior will increase. Was her pappy and mammy high on crack to approve the stripper pole. What happened to the child welfare agents that are supposed to be present whenever children are working?

  7. huh Says:

Where is the pole dance? I saw her holding one so she didnt fall. Am I missing something here? Wheres the pole dance video

  8. Promise Says:

she didn’t pole dance thats just what all crude people are thinking. she only was holding on to it to steady herself. pole dancing wouldn’t be ALLOWED on the teen choice awards. HELLO, its a family show

  9. Hilary Shepherd Says:

There are more appropriate ways to balance and steady yourself on stage other than using a vertical pole. Hollywood + Vertical Pole = Acting Like A Stripper.

  10. Jillian Says:

Umm, I really don’t think she was pole dancing. I think she was just holding on the pole to keep her balance. Yall need to get your story straight.

  11. Jillian Says:

Okay, I saw a better video of it ( I didnt see it last night) I owe a apology beacuse the better video I saw more than what this video showed. My 9 year old daughter will NO longer be able to watch her or listen to her or wear any of her clothes.

  12. Brandy Says:

I think everyone is being crude hypocrites… Seriously. She’s on top of a moving cart, how would YOU keep your balance? Besides the obvious thought of sitting instead of standing the pole seems like the most logial solution. For everyone above that deems it necessary to bash her and her parents for being horrible people, what kind of an example are YOU setting for your children? You’re on the internet bashing people in public… could just be me but that doesn’t seem like the Christian approach. As for the video of Noah: if you SERIOUSLY think that she’s pole dancing get a clue. She’s not doing anything different then little girls do on a playground… she has her hand on a pole (could EASILY be of a jungle gym or swingset if it wasn’t in a club) and is spinning in circles. Easy as that. Not everyone in Hollywood has the intent to currupt the children of today. YOU should be teaching your children the correct values, not someone on TV, anyway. No matter what my children see on TV I teach them what is right and wrong. There’s no way your children should be thinking ‘OMG she’s dancing on a pole to make money!’, If they are then YOU’RE not doing your job.

  13. Mo Says:

You know, I saw a bit of that on Greta Van Susstren’s show last night. I must say, Miley looked a bit more provocative for the Teen Award Show than she truly needed to be. I felt it was inappropriate but also reminded myself of the business she’s in. I just don’t understand kids (having the benefit of life experience, I consider someone in their late teens to still be a kid) rushing to appear to be more grown up. How can anyone rush time?

Miley began with those half nude shots and there was discussion about how she’s trying to break out of her young teen wholesome image. Maybe she was, they were only stills. Now we see her in action, as in live. I’m not impressed.

I think it was an ATTEMPT at pole dancing. She didn’t slither on or around it. If she came on only to sing and hold a pole, then I’d fire the manager! To sing a song, holding up a pole or using a pole to steady/hold herself up is stupid.

On the other hand, Miley has been a topic of discussion for the past few days so maybe her manager isn’t doing such a bad job. Ah, the biz!

None the less, I still found her performance to be unimpressive. She can sing and “dance,” make herself up to seem older than she really is but there is no way she can be as grown up as she wants to appear. Only experience and the lessons of time can do that, no matter how little she has on.

    Enjoy your youth, Miley.

  14. Hilary Shepherd Says:

    Brandy,

You are correct about perhaps needing the pole to balance while on the rolling cart. However, don’t you think they could have created a routine that did not include the cart in the first place?

  15. Mo Says:

Hilary~ I think they COULD have created a different routine but I don’t it would have garnered the attention the pole routine has caused. Bad or salacious behavior from celebrities always sells so much more than “good” honorable behavior.

Sex, drugs (we’re still waiting) and Rock N Roll, baby!

  16. Hilary Shepherd Says:

    You’re totally right Mo.

You’d think I’d be used to the sexualization of young girls in Hollywood by now – you know, considering what I do – but I’m not.

Ack! Does that mean I’m OLD? lol

  17. rissa Says:

this is just stupid all parents need to relize this is how kids dress.. its not trashy its in style and if u werent stuck in the 1950s u would see this hey who cares if she is or is not a virgin most kids who are 13 or 14 are having sex i know its not right but they are gonna do at least make sure they are having safe sex and for dancing go to a sixth grade dance what she was doing is nothing compared to what u would see there

  18. Mo Says:

    rissa~

You seem really angry to me. For one thing, I’m not stuck in the ’50s, I was born after that decade. Also, it would be nice if you could learn to use punctuation in your sentences. Otherwise, it’s all one big run on sentence, losing its point and meaning.

You know kids of 13 or 14 having sex, knowing it’s not right but since they are going to do it anyway, at least it’s safe sex? You know it’s not right but you’re saying it’s okay because they are having safe sex doesn’t make sense to me. It’s my personal opinion it’s plain wrong for a 13 or 14 year old to have sexual relations. You may not agree with me and see me as old fashioned, but I believe a parent of a 13/14 year old would have better judgment than their child at that age.

As for going to a sixth grade dance, that wasn’t what the article is about. If it’s true what you say, rissa, that what we saw Miley perform was nothing compared to what happens at a sixth grade dance, then I’d have a meeting with the principal of the school or school board to ask how they would allow lewd and lascivious behavior occur on school property or event.

Just because that’s the way it is doesn’t mean it’s right or in the best interest of the child.

  19. kimberly Says:

Well- For starters I want to address a few things posted above. The TEEN choice awards should have been on NICK but where aired on FOX (both are owned by the same corporate conglomerate-Newscorp- owned by Rupert Murdock – not even an American!) but anyway, they air it on Fox so that Nick does not tarnish their reputation.
And reality is that a pole on an ice cream cart in not a normal thing to be dancing on top of. If Miley needed it to steady herself she should have worn more appropriate shoes for performing and stayed on the floor.

It is a performance glamorizing trailer park trash, slutty clothes (her whole bra was hanging out) and a total lack of moral fiber. NOT who anyone should be idolizing. My daughter is 14 and was watching it with some same age friends, they were disgusted at the display. My husband and I practically have a ban on all Disney related acts in our home to begin with, it is all to profit off of your kids heads.

And the comments that are pointing out the fact that “everyone is doing it” are obviously posted by kids themselves, that mentality is ridiculous.

Billy Ray , a hack artist himself, is whoring out his daughter and making $ by baring her for the world to see. It is pathetic, stand up and say NO to your kids!

  20. Sheree Says:

Brandy, “true Christians” don’t let their children watch Miley Cyrus or any other teenager who dresses or gyrates like her. Yes, I said it – think about it. Would you let your daughter dress like that in church? Right – so, tell me, where does her behavior, star or not, fit into Christianity. I’m not even a religious person, and I find it really disturbing how many parents, let alone “Christians” bring their young girls to Miley Cyrus shows – I was equally horrified when parents brought their girls to Britney Spears shows, and I didn’t even have a child then. I just remember my 4 y/o niece singing & dancing around to Britney’s “Baby, Hit Me One More Time” – hugely inappropriate, no matter how you look at it.

  21. Amanda Says:

In reading these comments over the last few days I think the whole thing is just sad. As a mother of a young child and a high school teacher I find it hard to even let my daughter spend time with a lot of the teens that I work with. Our sex-driven society has made these girls feel like they have to grow up so fast.

I can understand if Miley wants to break her Disney image; that’s her misguided choice. However, if she chooses to shed that image she also needs to shed her show. She can’t do the grown up things she’s choosing to do and still promote her Hannah Montana Disney image. It’s time to realize that she truly can’t have the best of both worlds.

  22. Sarah Says:

I can’t wait for her to end up in rehab.

Yes, the pole could have been used for balance, BUT THE TINY OUTFITS DON’T HELP ANYONE. Just by wearing that, she now looks like a little skank. And her dancing WITHOUT the pile was in no way better.

  23. Nanxy Says:

Slimey…I mean Miley Cyrus is keeping it classy once again.

  24. Frank Says:

First off the dance pole is NOT a hooker pole according to Stacey. I guess maybe we should do away with the railings in dance studios because it forces young girls and older girls to spread their legs. As far as she was dressed you can’t blame her parents nor her unless of course you don’t allow your daughters to dress like that. Heck I’ve seen girls go to High School with less on. I’m amazed at how many people know about these dance poles and are critical of them unless of course they’ve gone to see them in use. That would make you kind of well stupid. Oh by the way she wasn’t pole dancing. For those of you who haven’t seen pole dancing the girls just don’t hold onto a pole and then squat down, they do a whole lot more and this just wouldn’t be considered pole dancing, hell she wouldn’t even get hired at a strip joint just doing what she does and I can speak about that because I work in one and the girls I work with actually thought it was funny and she needs to stay off the pole because she’s giving it a bad name.

  25. Ashley Says:

You are all being RIDICULOUS. She is not acting like a stripper, because at no point did she STRIP. Stop being old blow-hards and realize that a POLE does not automatically equal a strip club. Your nine year old daughter shows off more at the beach or pool than Miley did during her performance, and it’s ridiculous that her outfit could be taken offensively. What is this, the 1920s all over again? Nothing questionable is showing. As for the pole, give me a BREAK. She didn’t gyrate ONCE, she held on and danced like a normal teenager, with no questionable moves. And it’s even more ridiculous to say that Noah was pole dancing. She was spinning around in a tutu holding onto a pole! How ridiculous can you be, honestly. You won’t let your children watch Hannah Montana anymore because the actress held onto a pole during a performance of her song about dancing and having fun? I’d hate to see what kind of rules you’d instate in their TEENAGE years! Watch the performance again, this time considering if you’d see any of those moves in an actual strip club. There was nothing sexual about her dance, and if you somehow see that there is, then maybe you should stop trying to make everything about Hollywood inappropriate. Get real, parents.

  26. MILLIE Says:

GESH….. WhAT MOMENT DID SHE POLE DANCED??? CUASE I SURE DIDNT SEE NOTHING BUT A YOUNG GIRL HOLDING ON TO A POLE SO SHE WOULD NOT FALL FLAT ON HER FACE… GIVE IT A BREAK .. I GUESS MANY POEPLE THE HIGHLIGHT OF THEIR DAY IS TO PICK ON SOMEONE CRITICIZE LOOK INTO UR OWN LIFE AND SEE IF UR AS PURE AS U THINK ….. OH WATCH UR KIDS IM PRETTY SURE THAT BY THE AGE 5 THEY HAVE ALREADY HUMPED HALF OF THEIR STUFF ANIMALS IN THEIR ROOM…

  27. Hilary Shepherd Says:

Ha Ha Ha, you guys are funny. I love how offended people get by the words I choose to use. Just remember not everything is as it seems. There’s this little thing called ‘writing for search engines.’

But by all means do not stop telling me and the other commentors how ridiculous and stupid we are. It makes me laugh – and I love to laugh.

  28. Mo Says:

To me, Miley didn’t do any pole dancing. She didn’t have it in her. If it was to hold on to a pole to keep her balance, then it was a stupid routine IMO. Why put on a performance that would put the “star” at risk of physical harm, like falling on her face?

I’d like to see proof of Miley signing up to do a Playboy pictorial when she turns 18. Thanks.

Hollywood isn’t the way it used to be back in the 1920s. At that time, they still had plots to many of their stories and there weren’t all the high tech gizmos to make a movie more than what it really is.

As for getting out of the getting more into present day versus being an old blow hard, maybe if parents kept a more watchful eye on their kids, society today wouldn’t be in such a mess. No self respect, no respect for others.

As for 5 years olds humping their stuffed animals, I think that’s an over broad generalization. Many kids at that age may exploring themselves physically but they’re young kids not represented by Disney or trying to put the impression that they are so virginal.

But hey! Miley’s manager or father, Billy Ray, did good having Miley do that performance. It’s still in the news and makes it/her relevant. Was there this much hoopla when Drew Barrymore, Brooke Shields or Jodi Foster played their roles in movies seducing older men? Oh but wait! Those WERE movie roles. What was Miley trying to show?

  29. trini Says:

im a 17 yr old girl ok so it wasn’t exactly a pole dance. i have absolutely no prob with the way she dressed but what i do have a prob with is the fact that miley cyrus markets herself as as this totally innocent, virginal little girl. you do not do these things when ur influencing an entire generation of disney’s brainwashed zombies.britney spears was 17 when her career hit off but by then she had severed ties wit disney and her songs were geared to a more mature audience ie hit me baby one more time. btw the moving cart was a stupid move in the first place and the entire performance was an insult to southerners…she is further enforcing the whole trailer trash stereotype that already exists

  30. sarah Says:

hello miss lady i like u but that is a bad example for me a 12 year old dont do something like that i know u wasnt pole dancing but u have children my age jus do what selena and demi doing make friends with them and dont study the jonas brothers because them real ugly make a show or something with selena and demi make ur self proud all my love

  31. notahater Says:

ok- i saw the show. miley really think about your actions.
wrong moves made- 1. outfit(i can see your bra and could the shorts get any shorter) 2.keep your balance -fine( then get a shorter pole or handle to hold on to— that looked like striper pole{it was taller than you})

3.way you walked out of the trailer (really keep the legs together)

with these few steps you are on way back on top—- don’t be stupid on what picture you take no one wants to see you semi-nude/in a bra/ or everything like that — ok then

ps remember you are a ROLE MODEL – it is hard to believe!!!

  32. sam Says:

what the hell was miley doing if she was wearing that she could of just been naked her parents are weirdos.

  33. Tara Morgan Says:

My view on Miley’s performances was that is was very provocative. I can’t have my eleven year old child watching Miley act as if she’s isn’t a child. Miley is 16/17 not even 18 and many people expect that parents should be fine with it and then another minute you have your child partially nude dancing on a pole at 11. What kind of example is that? I really don’t care what other people say about its how children dress nowadays. She representing DISNEY, children watch this channel like crazy that means children never take their eyes off her. She needs to cover up or get the hell off disney.

  34. Emma L Says:

MILEY is a bad example for children especially girls. Last night my daughter asked me if she could get a nose and belly piercing and when I asked her why she said because MILEY has them. My daughter is SIX years old.

    I AGREE WITH TARA MORGAN

  35. Frank Says:

Boy oh boy we have a lot of parents here who are admitting they hang out in strip clubs. Now there’s a good example for your kids isn’t it? First off she didn’t dance, she held on for her life. Second she squatted once which doesn’t even qualify for the show, “If You Could Dance”. Third an ice cream cart like that doesn’t come with different sized poles because they put an umbrella on it. I’m totally surprised no one’s asked what ice cream company supplied the cart so they could be boycotted or better yet sued. Come on people, there are no perfect parents out there, hell I even make mistakes. I work as a DJ in a topless bar and my son has no clue what goes on in that club. He’s 10 but I’m sure if I stay there it won’t be long before he hears from a fellow student what goes on there because his/her parents don’t care. Does that mean I’m a sleaze bag or a bad parent? I don’t think so, I don’t date the girls, nobody knows where I live it’s totally professional. But we do have parents even right here who say. “oh you can see her bra”, she has a nose piercing and a 6 year old wants one. She’s a whore? She’s a tramp. Well aren’t girls supposed to wear bras and yes mom and dad you have no clue how they wear it when they leave the house, maybe you should follow your kids around for a day. As far as a nose or belly peircing, if an aunt or friend comes over with one and the 6 year old ask’s for one do you tell her that her aunt or your friend is a slut or just simply explain to her that would be her decision when she get’s older. As far as calling Myley a whore, I’m wondering what corner this guy drives around hoping to find her. I think enough is enough on this people. I’ll just bet all these wonderful parents didn’t care what their parents thought when they went to a concert and a band member handed a joint out into the crowd. Oh no their parents had no right to say how they lived. Think about it people. If you don’t agree with it, then turn off her show, she didn’t do anything that deserves all this bad mouthed attitude towards her. And remember only those who are perfect are allowed to throw the first stone.

  36. Hazelle R Says:

I personally think that we should not judge anyone but what miley wore and dance on was really a little bit provocative as mentioned, but people make mistakes and sometimes we think that they should do better but we ourselves are not prefect. AS far as the piercing she should know when and where to wear them. Children are glue to disney and she should represent disney for what it is and what it stands for.

I PERSONALLY think she didnt really mean for the performance to come off as a pole dance.

  37. Reilly Says:

I can’t believe how so many people are actually pissed about this. It didn’t look anything like pole dancing, if you actually consider that pole dancing you need to Google pole dancing. For one, she squatted once while holding the pole, if you were an actual pole dancer you’d be swinging around that pole pressing against the pole humping the pole and so on. Her outfit, while I’ll agree being rather short and suggestive isn’t anything so terrible to get all excited about, and for you people who are @@@@@ing about your stupid 9 year old watching the “TEEN” choice awards here’s some fact for you it’s called teen choice awards because it’s about teens. Being that a 9 year old isn’t a teen and that Miley like any other 16 year old was showing off her body.

I tell you right now I really couldn’t care less actually, since I don’t even watch any of her shows or any of that crap, not to mention TV in general. I just think that people who rave a and post these extremely aggressive and mean comments about Miley just because you think she tried a pole dancing stunt. BIG, F—ing deal. Get a life you pricks.

  38. missi Says:

Reilly i agree with u it was the TEEN choice awards but i think u are missing the point. Although this show is geared at teens miley’s primary fan base is made up of 7-14 year olds. These kids are so caught up in the miley mania and wherever miley goes or does they will blindly follow so as a role model for such impressionable young minds she shud really choose her actions carefully and consider what is appropriate for such young girls. I do not have a problem with how she dressed bcuz god knows that 3 years ago at 16 i dressed much worse and probably danced more provacatively than most strippers. But i wasnt doing it on television for the world to see and i wasnt a role model for thousands of kids who cud persuade their parents to pay ridiculous amounts of money for hannah montana merchandise and concert tickets. Wrd of advice miley honey….wait s couple more years til ur legal

  39. Miley is a ho Says:

2nd video 1:08 to 1:15. How is this keeping your balance. Never in hell have I tried to keep my balance being completely spread open. She is a little slut and having a 20+ live in boyfriend. Now, anyone else would be arrested for statutory rape. But since she’s got the bucks she can have an old man as a boyfriend.

Give it up all of you who think she’s not a little tramp. She can’t sing, she can’t dance, and all these girls want to be the next Madonna. Thing is once Madonna had children she settled down and stopped acting like a slut. Britney, Miley, they’ll still be drugged up tramps with children while they are still children.

Stop pretending like she’s innocent. Disney makes all stars claim that they are virgins to keep their “family” image.

But she’ll go the way of Billy Ray and his achey brakey heart and the mullet.

  40. Frank Says:

Boy someone got up on the wrong side of the pole or maybe your just jealous. Now I’m quite sure that you’ve never tried to keep your balance on top of something small and moving but then again you might still ride the kiddie rides at the park. And as far as statutory rape, as I don’t agree with what she is doing, she is as any girl is able to give consent to sex after turning 16. But then again I’d probably ground my daughter till she was 30 if she had done it, but no charges can be really filed so the bucks don’t count. As far as Madonna, isn’t she that wonderful person who has settled down who took a child away from a grandfather because she wanted to adopt? Personally I think she just wants to be like Angelina Jolie and definetely nobody I would want any of my kids to look up too. And obviously you haven’t seen any of her new shows, you’d be taking that statement of not being a slut anymore back. Last but not least Billy Ray has been basically out of view to raise his daughter. I’m a Professional Illusionist and haven’t been on the road for 10 years now to raise a child I’m legal guardian of, and I’m sure everyone consider’s me a loser and a quitter, but Billy Ray does have a new CD coming out later this month, so he’s getting back into the business now that his daughter is capable of holding her own, even if it is with the help of a pole.

  41. Miley fan Says:

OK FOR CRYING OUT LOUD PEOPLE! LEAVE HER ALONEE! Stupid idiots. OK she was keeping her balance. NO POLE DANCING!

Pole dancing is wrapping your legs around the pole humping it OK?
She was trying to keep her balance.
And I don’t understand WHY all of you parents are getting pissed off about something so stupid. Your little 9 year old kids watching the TEEN choice awards. Not the Baby choice awards, not the kid choice awards, and not the ‘Stupid dumb parents’ choice awards. The teen choice awards.
And for crying out loud. Leave her and her family alone. OK?! You don’t know her. You don’t know all the stress she goes through because dumb paparazzi follow her everyday! And oh your complaining cause she’s dating an older man! Seriously dudes thats ridiculous. I bet some people who are married are older than each other! I mean like… (example) a 40 year old man married a 30 year old woman. And who Miley dates is HER choice. And if she’s happy then leave her alone. I bet all of you guys probably felt happier with an older guy/girl or a younger guy/girl.
Actually Miley and Nick Jonas were a good couple but thats not the point.

AND BESIDES! They broke up due to working schedule’s. So leave her alone. You pathetic losers who just sit and bash famous people when YOU DONT KNOW THEM!
If you don’t personally know them then you shouldn’t say anything.

  42. Liz Says:

All of you people who are saying that the pole does not mean indicate stripping…. Have you ever stepped foot inside a college interpretation class??? This is a clear and intentional representation of breaking out of her “good girl image”. She knows exactly what she is doing because thrusts her body down at the exact moment that she sings, “everybody’s looking at me now” and looks directly into the camera. … And for those of you who will say that I am just a mom who does not know how girls are dressing these days, it’s not true I am a 21 year old college girl. … Also there is no reason for that pole to even be there, that cart didn’t have to be wheeled out she could have just as easily danced around it, there was no reason to be on top of that ice cream cart!
