Kandi Burruss Fiancé Died – AJ Jewell Dead

A man has been arrested in connection with the beating death of Ashley Jewell, the fiancé of Kandi Burruss, a castmember of Bravo’s Real Housewives of Atlanta.

Homicide detectives arrested the suspect, Fredrick Richardson, who has been charged with voluntary manslaughter, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports. PEOPLE

Kandi Buruss, one of the ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta,’ has lost her former fiancé AJ Jewell due to head injuries he sustained during a fight in the Atlanta strip club, Body Tap.

AJ Jewell was rushed to the hospital after the fight, where he was pronounced dead on arrival.

No arrests have been made.

The engagement of Kandi Buruss and AJ Jewell caused a lot of drama on ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ because Kandi’s mother had some issues with the pairing. Kandi and AJ called off their engagement just a few months ago.

AJ Jewell leaves behind six children, including 12-year-old twin daughters who will now be raised solely by Kandi as she is their legal guardian.
