The Kim Kardashian Sex Tape – It Made Kim Who She Is Today

So for some reason this morning I found myself watching a mini-marathon of Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami. Don’t ask me why. I’m guessing the TV was on that channel when I turned it on and I never bothered to change the channel. That’s usually how I end up watching random things I don’t normally watch.

During one of the episodes, Kim Kardashian was in Miami visiting her sister Kourtney because Khloe took off and Kourtney needed help with their Dash store in Miami (plus Kim being Kim is good for ratings).

As Kim walked around Kourtney’s place in a thin pink robe, I couldn’t help but think of the white robe Kim wore in the sex tape she made with ex-boyfriend Ray J.

Yeah I’m weird, I know.

It seems like a lifetime ago that the Kim Kardashian sex tape was “leaked,” but in reality it’s only been three years since the world was introduced to Kim K and her ASSets. Since then “Kim K Superstar” has sold well over a million copies, by the by.

I think we can all agree Kim has her sex tape to thank for the celebrity status she enjoys today. Had the Kim Kardashian sex tape never been released, we wouldn’t have Keeping Up With The Kardashians, Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami, all of Kim’s perfumes, or her sexy Charles Jr. salad commercials to keep us entertained.

And Kim certainly wouldn’t have the 5 million dollar settlement from Vivid Entertainment, giving them the rights to the Kim Kardashian sex tape.

Side Note: Unless you plan on having a future in the pornography business, don’t make a sex tape with anyone at any time. Seriously. These days, there’s just no way it won’t be leaked to the internet.

I bet Kim thinks the whole sex tape thing is long behind her, but she’s wrong; the desire for the Kim Kardashian sex tape will ever go away completely. Unless, of course, Kim Kardashian goes away; and, well, I really don’t see that happening anytime soon.
