Singer John Mellencamp announced recently that he and his wife of two decades are divorcing.

Now we’re hearing that Meg Ryan may or may not have had something to do with the split. I guess wrecking her own marriage wasn’t cutting it anymore and she had to move outward.

Rumor has it that Meg Ryan and John Mellencamp have been bumping uglies for a few months already, and there is no sign of it slowing down anytime soon.

A source close to the situation confirms to Gossip Cop that Meg Ryan is in deed dating newly single John Mellencamp.

The couple has reportedly been spotted together at various locations on Martha’s Vineyard and around New York City. Most recently, they were seen shopping at the same grocery store on Monday. Which of course in Hollywood terms, means they were there together and are clearly an item.
