Beyonce And Manager Father Matthew Knowles Part Ways

All good things must come to an end. And sometimes when there’s infidelity and illegitimate children in the mix, that end comes sooner than one may have thought.

There’s no proof or confirmation that the triflin’ activities of Matthew Knowles have something to do with Beyonce’s decision to drop him as her manager, but you never know.

In a statement, Beyonce said, “…I grew up watching both he and my mother manage and own their own businesses. They were hardworking entrepreneurs and I will continue to follow in their footsteps.

About her father specifically, the uber-successful singer said, “He is my father for life and I love my dad dearly, [and] I am grateful for everything he has taught me.”

Matthew Knowles has managed his daughter’s career since she first hit the scene as part of the all-girl group Destiny’s Child in the late ‘90s.

For his part, Matthew Knowles says the decision to go their separate ways was solely about business. Personally, I think his extra curricular activities lead Beyonce to make the first cut, but that’s just me.

“Business is business and family is family,” Knowles said in his own statement. “I love my daughter and am very proud of who she is and all that she has achieved. I look forward to her continued great success.”
