It’s like Déjà vu all over again.
Whitney Houston is in rehab seeking help for her continuing battle with drugs and alcohol.
According to reports, the 47-year-old singer voluntarily entered an out-patient treatment program. Houston’s rep Kristen Foster confirmed the news in a statement released to People magazine.

“Long-standing” is putting it politely; Whitney Houston has struggled for years with addiction.
Sometimes I wonder where her life would have led her had she not married Bobbie Brown. One of the most successful singers in the history of pop music, Whitney Houston was on top the world when it all came crashing down.
Down into a crack pipe, most likely.
Oh wait, I’m sorry, Whitney Houston doesn’t do crack. Crack is cheap – she has too much money to buy crack – crack is whack.
After years of battling demons, Whitney released a comeback album in 2009 and proclaimed her druggie days were over, and that she was clean and healthy.
But it didn’t last long.
In 2010, troubles plagued the singer’s tour, including bad reviews from fans who claimed that both her voice and her performance sucked. She ultimately canceled some of the tour dates, and blamed it on “illness.”
