The 60th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards were on ABC last night. I didn’t really watch them. Apparently, I wasn’t the only one. Thankfully some of my gossip friends not only watched the ceremony, they took notes too….. Last night was the 13th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards. Nothing too exciting this year; in fact, I found the end to be fairly anti-climatic with Annette Benning simply saying, “Goodnight.” The two things that made my jaw drop the most were when Eddie Murphy thanked Tracey Edmonds for, “making everything right,” when accepting the award for supporting actor for Dreamgirls, and when Chandra Wilson of Grey’s Anatomy referred to...

The nominations are in. Here is a short list of the “big ones”. Noticeably absent from Best Picture is Dreamgirls, which many “in the know” thought would be nominated for sure. Looks like they’re not as “in” as they thought.
