At 3 a.m. this past Wednesday Abraham Biggs announced via a website that he was going to kill himself. By 3 p.m. that day, the 19-year-old Broward College student was dead on his father’s bed. And a whole lot of people watched; some even egged him on. By the time the authorities were called and police arrived at Biggs’ home it was too late. And people were still watching. The reality of the situation didn’t really sink... 

So rumor has it, anyway. Suicide is something personal and really nothing to make fun of. When someone has gotten to the point of wanting to take their own life, they are as low and they can go, and don’t need to be kicked while they’re down.
