Last Thanksgiving I posted the address of a VFW Post in Virginia, which was accepting Christmas gifts for wounded soldiers. The other day, Big John (who gave me that address) reminded me that such gifts and kind words are accepted all year round. So many wonderful causes are forgotten about after the holidays – giving thanks to our recovering American soldiers should not be one of them.
